Heels darkA professor in Houston was found stabbed to death early Sunday morning, the weapon was a stiletto heel. The Houston Police Department said Alf Stefan Andersson, 59, a research professor at the University of Houston’s Biology and Biochemistry Department, was found dead just before 4 a.m. in his high rise condo. Andersson’s girlfriend, Ana Lilia Trujillo, 44, was arrested Sunday and charged with his murder.  The report I read stated that the Police were not sure if Ms. Trujillo was wearing the stiletto heeled shoe, or using her hand to wield the weapon. The professor had several stab wounds to his head and was found on the floor outside his kitchen. Clue1

Clearly, this was a case of domestic violence, a case of crime in the heat of passion. It is not likely that a woman would plan to kill a man with a high heel shoe. Given the name of my blog, Heels and Handguns, this story does trouble me more than the average murder.  I already have gun control advocates constantly trying to take away my right to defend my family and eroding my constitutional rights to bear arms. If this stiletto heel murder spree continues, I am going to have to worry about “Heel Control” next.  Ladies – I promise if that happens, I will become the first president of the National Stiletto Heel Association!

For the rest of the world, especially the gun control advocates who troll my page – this is just one more example demonstrating that crime happens everyday, with or without a gun.

  1. Oh my God. They need to ban anybody from having shoes like that. (I once arrested a couple of drunks who tried to kick me in the head after they knocked me to the ground. I took the idiots boots as evidence and he had to walk home bare foot from jail)
