I wanted to share my favorite speech from today’s Senate Judiciary Committee on the issue of “preventing gun violence”. Senator Cruz gave a straight forward, extremely reasonable presentation that makes it very clear why banning AR-15s and other modern rifles is simply a gesture, and yet will not prevent the next mass shooting.
Awww, right at the end of that video, Sen Franken is announced as the next senator. I would have loved to hear that-BTW Sen Cruz is fabulous, ain’t he?
